In 2014, we explored many ways of monetising Silla. Each had its own price point, value proposition and assumptions. We discussed and tested them with many practitioners.

What we settled on is a simple freemium model that we’re launching today.

Freemium is a business model that mixes ‘free’ and ‘premium’. We give core functionality for free to many users and sell premium functionality to a fraction of them.
