We have 3 children, we have been through a lot with them over the last 6 years including hospital for meningitis, pneumonia, asthma, influenza infections and all children problems.

Dr Talal has been our saviour every time and we are so grateful for all the care he offered us. We can not recommend him enough. Very professional, honest and great in explaining the problem and solution. Not keen on investigations or medications... just does a perfect job from our view and experience.

Our daughter was in critical condition with variable opinions when Dr Talal was recommended to us by a friend as a good physician and cardiologist.

We had a faultless management plan, great communications about what to expect, what were the likelihood of things going wrong and how to improve our chances. Genuine advice, never held back, giving us his time at the hour of need, even when he was away he emailed us repeatedly about what to do within the hour.

He was with us all the way until she is now back to almost normal after 6 long months of serious illness which affected her heart called Kawasaki Disease.

We were a family just arriving in Dubai, met doctor Farha from a friend recommendation. He is one of the most experienced pediatricians in Dubai and he took care of my two children during our time that we lived there. Highly professional and serious doctor, always has time to discuss the conditions of the children and medication recommended.

Dr. Talal has been my son, Jayden's doctor since Jayden's birth (6 years old now). He always ensures that medications are given when absolutely necessary and he shows genuine concern in the overall well being of the child. Being very friendly and pleasant, kids love to be at his office and he always ensures a thorough investigation is done when they are there. His medications, when given, have been very effective and I believe my child's overall immunity was built thanks to his approach in dealing with an infection. He is highly recommended !

I came to know about Dr. Talal from Expat Woman forum. We went for the vaccinations of our daughter and a general check up.

Dr. Farah Talal is highly competent. He has an 'All Natural Minimalist Approach', prescribes medicines and tests only if mandatory and is very friendly and gentle with the kids.

The staff is very competent, good with the kids, friendly and jovial. The whole clinic is full of vibrant energy and positivity. There are educational toys in the waiting area which makes it even more fun.

The whole experience fills our day with exuberance. It's like a playdate for my daughter. We always look forward to visiting the Farha Children Clinic :)

We have been using Dr Farha for a while now, he was discovered by my wife on an expat forum she subscribes to.

He is very thorough in his diagnosis and you never feel like you're being rushed to make way for another patient. He always treats our daughter, Jemimah, with so much care and attention. We leave his practice reassured and with clear next steps. He comes highly recommended.

He is our daughter's physician and we've been visiting him for two years now.

His analysis is on the mark without excessive and unnecessary lab tests. He's a very soft spoken person and that works great with kids.

The best doctor I have come across. Loves children and exceptionally good at his work.

After wasting months and seeing various peadiatricians with the complaint that my baby doesn't take enough milk and she's at the lowest percentile on weight for age graph, we found Dr Talal.

Instead of not listening to us and immediately resorting to invasive investigations like barium swallowing and upper gi endoscopy, he worked on establishing a proper feeding routine.

Long story short, my baby was diagnosed with severe food aversion due to silent reflux. She has improved a lot but it is still a long journey.

Dr Talal not only avoids unnecessary tests and medication, he's easy to get appointments with, is available through phone and emails.

If it wasn't for Dr Talal's clinical knowledge and compassionate approach, my baby would've been admitted to the hospital with a feeding tube long ago.

After 3 years, 30+ doctors, we found someone who is not a "commercial" doctor but a true "family" doctor!

A colleague recommended Dr Talal for my daughter who has had recurrent throat infections. Dr Talal is a wonderful doctor, he really took his time to put my three year old at ease, and was very gentle and thorough. Dr. Talal is extremely competent, kind and friendly. He has a calming/soothing effect that makes my baby smile in just a few seconds. After seeing the way he interacts with my baby and the trustworthy diagnosis and advice he has given, I felt that I have found the right doctor for my child. I would highly recommend him.

We have met Dr Talal after 3 different pediatricians were unable to identify an effective treatment for our daughter's asthma. He was recommended by a family friend who was very happy with Dr Talal's performance, and most importantly his honesty.

While most Doctors in the UAE recommend surgical intervention (especially when they know you have a health insurance ) Dr Talal recommended a treatment that can avoid the surgery for our friend's daughter. Dr Talal is and will always be, our hero. He did an amazingly good job with our children, one premature and another with a cardiac condition a year later... The diversity of his knowledge and skills are second to none.

We would wholeheartedly recommend him for all babies, children and heart cases. We have experienced the lot with him. He is very kind, calm and thoughtful. He explains things properly and is well respected all over.

Dr Talal looks after my 5 year old daughter and 15 month old son. He has looked after my son since he was 1 month old and daughter for the past 18 months. He is a fantastic pediatrician. Both my children adore him and he calms us down - nothing makes us anxious like a poorly child.

We have seen him for regular check ups and vaccinations and also for more serious issues like when my son was 4 months old and contracted RSV which led to him being hospitalised with bronchiolitis. Dr Talal takes his time to observe and ask questions. He is not trigger happy with antibiotics (unusual for Dubai!) and is extremely knowledgeable. We trust him implicitly and highly recommend him.

Dr Talal is a fantastic doctor! His personality and demeanor is so suited for dealing with babies, children and their parents. I feel relaxed and unhurried, my questions all get answered (even the silly "first-time mom" ones). My baby is calmed by him and he always performs a thorough exam.

Even his staff are exceptional. They always greet my baby by name when we first come in the door and speak softly to her during weigh-in's and measuring.

Dr. Talal is a complete doctor. Besides his remarkable academic knowledge, Dr. Talal is the kind of doctor that takes time and listens. He focuses on the entire well being and not solely on treating the symptoms. What I also appreciate is that his prescriptions are never aggressive, following a close supervision approach rather than a rapid recovery with aggressive medicine that can only harm on a long term.

We first met Dr. Talal when my twins had to be admitted in City Hospital for bronchiolitis at the age of 8 months. He took great care of them and has been our pediatrician of choice ever since. Apart from a great wealth of knowledge and experience in his field, Dr. Talal is very patient, kind and considerate and interacts with the children in such a friendly manner that my kids actually enjoy going to the doctor and love visiting his clinic.

When we recently had to drop something at the clinic without having a scheduled consultation, my 2 year old daughter was indeed upset that she was not having to see her doctor and went to his office all by herself. Moreover, Dr. Talal acknowledges the importance of the parents in caring for the health of their children and has always readily attended to queries even out of hours.

Unlike other practitioners in the UAE, he is not quick to prescribe medication, when time and extra care would suffice instead. A recommendation for Dr. Talal would however not be complete without praising the excellent staff at his clinic who are very friendly, attentive and caring and the clinic manager who has been very helpful regarding insurance matters and puts in great effort to make sure children of all ages enjoy coming to the clinic!

My baby was born in the US and this is our first baby so we did not have any access to a Dubai based pediatrician nor do we know anyone. I am admittedly a crazy google-head so the first thing I did is search for the "best pediatrician in Dubai"- in all forums.

Dr Talal has consistently been praised so I booked an appointment and have never looked back ever since. He is amazing with my daughter, very gentle, very thorough and a very good listener. I first started taking my children to see Dr. Talal almost three years ago, and we've stuck with him as a pediatrician since. He is gentle, soft-spoken, and very relaxed, and all three of my children are comfortable seeing him. Dr. Farha is by far the best pediatrician – actually, the best doctor that I have come across. Growing up in Canada, I know of many good doctors, but it is clear that Dr. Farha is in a different league.
